we’re all moved in at the beach. it was a COLD move — 32 degrees when we started saturday morning. we loaded up a 17 ft. u-haul with everything, and took off.
highlight 1: stopping for BBQ at smithfields on the way. peggy (the mother-in-law) had NEVER been to a smithfields before, so she was unprepared for its deliciousness. since we’re on the diet, i ate approximately 1.5 pints of BBQ by myself.
non highlight 1: going to super walmart in wilmington. hor-rib-ble. awful.
everything else was pretty non-remarkable. brian was in a fantastic mood – perhaps due to his lack of eating – so he was a real joy to be around. in better news, the house is looking cute. i think its going to be perfect for the summer.
