today

Uncategorized / February 2, 2007

today has been pretty lazy. i admit, it was not THAT treacherous out, but — i was brave yet cautious, and worked from home.

i took a nap with olivia. i was thinking – it may have been my first nap in over a year. it went fairly well.

brian made me eggs for lunch. yesterday was my first encounter with over easy eggs. too much yellow stuff squirted out for my liking. but, today i had over firm eggs, and the yellow stuff squirting was kept to a minimum. i’m still not sold on “non-scrambled” eggs.

i watched about 15 minutes of martha this morning, and she is still awkward and overpowering with her guests. there was a lady on her show making valentines who is from maine and started her own business covering things in glitter. that’s all she does — cover things in glitter.

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
