5 ingredients: 1/2 cup teriyaki, 1/4 cup soy, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 lbs flank steak, 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
in a baking dish, combine first three ingreds. then take the steak and make 1/4″ deep cuts about 1/2″ apart on both sides of the steak, cutting diagonally against the grain. (see diagram – yellow lines are cuts)
rub both sides with the mustard, and place the steak in the marinade. to the refrigerator, overnight, a few hours, whateve.
preheat the broiler. line a shallow pan (a cookie pan will work) with foil and broil the steak for 6 minutes on each side.
let it rest a few minutes and then slice across the grain.
