the basement is ALMOST done. so very close.
i ordered a rug from ebay yesterday (um, $79, including shipping!), and the wallpaper man came this morning to measure and give us a quote (super deal – only $150!).
i couldn’t be more excited about the rug. i’ve been fantasizing about the cool slate floors covered with a yummy old persian carpet, so i’ve had my eye on ebay listings. i found this one yesterday and it was love at first site. delight in it:
