devon dyer’s stylish digs

Uncategorized / July 19, 2013

i was very stoked to help my ever-so-stylish ladyfriend devon dyer a few weeks ago furb up her space a bit for an upcoming glitter guide shoot.  i couldn’t be more proud of her fashionable self when i saw the photos of her chic digs!

with a wardrobe as enviable as her apartment, devon knows how to make it werk!

i advised her pottery barn’s magenta linen pillows with jute trim were a must-have for her fun sofa.  (they’re one of my best kept secrets.  go — get them!)

DEVON__001
her pretty coffee table with a brass urchin, and her fun vintage wingbacks with a bali tie-dyed lumbar

DEVON__011
how great is this dining room moonlighting as a closet?  i love the floral barkcloth tablecloth she picked up at a flea market – such a great contrast against the zebra rug.  spot our pink ladies print back there on the floating shelf?

DEVON__016
a pretty vignette in her bedroom, with a smaller urchin friend and our buffalo check tissue box

DEVON__018
rock and roll meets glammed up girly in her bedroom.  i love she choose to use our seaweed embroidered pillow to add some bright color to the bed, and our suzani lamp on the bedside table adds a little boho flair.

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
