Uncategorized / February 11, 2014

i’m excited to team up with isabella, an interiors boutique in charlotte, nc on this bedding giveaway, just in time for valentine’s day.

we’re offering one lucky winner all the basics to get a chic boudoir plan well under way: a gorgeous set of peacock alley sheets and a coverlet, and a pair of our new black floral accent pillows – full of a palette of saturated colors you can choose from to make your bedroom beautiful.

i took one one my favorite custom pillows from my home and made a smaller version, accessible to everyone – and i have to admit, everyone who comes into the store is leaving with a pair, despite not having a single place to put them when they get home!  they’re that rearrange-the-home-room-type score, if you know what i’m saying.  i move mine around the house constantly b/c they just make any room happier!

just make sure you follow i suwannee and isabella’s blog to win, and leave one of us a comment about how you would dare to mix these special pieces in your bedroom.  good luck!!

On East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Designter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
