updates from my lifestylez

My Style, Uncategorized / March 14, 2016

last week i was in san francisco filming a class with brit + co that will be available to purchase soon on their site.  it was fun to tour their headquarters and see so many creative young people working together for a cool company.
i tried the sushi at ryoko per a recommendation and it was phenomenal

i met jordan for dinner at leo’s oyster bar and had a major moment with these restoration hardware lights i’ve always wanted to use
the schnauzies were in dire need of a trim, so i called the grooming spot and they came to the house with their mobile grooming van and in went the pups…
a couple of hours later, fresh to death.
a cute floor at one of my new favorite spots in raleigh to grab a glass of champs, vita vite

can’t wait to show you this real raleigh we shot recently – should be on the blog next week!
we’re unpacking rugs this morning and getting them up on the site.  lots of new pretty pink oushaks – loving this one with our ikat chair
major is immensely helpful in the unpacking process.  this one is a fave though.

that’s what i got. it’s a busy week – we’re headed to london wednesday and trying to get a lot done at the new space before we go. i’ll have an update soon on that – we’ve made a lot of progress.  etc. etc.  yay.  yay.  it’s warm outside and daylight savings dropped the beat.  i slept until 9:30 this am, and feel all out of sorts.  it’s high time to go cut some cherry blossoms or that yellow mess that’s blooming and zhush up a pretty spot in your house.  do that with the extra hour tonight when you get home.

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
