top ten with artist Renee Bouchon

Furbish / February 3, 2019

i’d venture to say renee bouchon is our best-selling pop-up artist to date — you guys LOVE her work, and i totally understand why.  her little collages are like magical little discoveries, and they are so powerful hanging together in sets. several customers have shared photos with me of spaces they’ve decorated with her art, and it really is transformative. we’re launching an exclusive collection of 25 pieces from her ‘relic’ series on tuesday – be sure to jump online right at 12pm est, because Renee is always fast to sell out! I’ll be posting a sneak peek tomorrow on the blog, before the sale, so if you’re considering a grouping, you can go ahead and get a gameplay!

get to know renee a bit better with her take on the top ten:

1 – favorite artist Mark Rothko

2 – color i never tire of blue (or black!)

3 – hostess gift a Jo Malone gift or fresh flowers

4 – music that always puts me in a great mood I love it all!  Seriously. Lately my playlists have been filled with Leon Bridges, Valerie June, Ray Charles…I’m in a bit of an “old soul” state of mine when it comes to music these days, ha.  Oh, and “A Star is Born” soundtrack has been on repeat as well 🙂

5 – go-to outfit White Theory t-shirt, JCrew matchstick jeans and my great Vince slip ons (this is a casual day!)

6 – piece of jewelry My great grandma’s engagement ring my parents gave me on my wedding day…it’s Art Deco and fabulous.

7 – flower white lisianthus that haven’t fully bloomed!

8 – fabric or textile This is so hard!  So, so many but one that comes to mind is the Acanthus Stripe pattern by Schumacher.

9 – scent Chloe

10 – hotel Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello, Italy…we stayed here on our honeymoon and I thought I had died and gone to heaven.  The POOL!!!
