closet cravings

Closet Cravings / July 29, 2019

1 – well how cute is this dress?  sometimes the prairie is just not the place for me, despite that we’re all outstanding in that trend field right now, but I think I could be here now with this emerald zebra print!

2 – these mignonne gavingon earrings are ridiculous and amazing.  you could wear a target bath towel and still be of interest if you wore these birdos.

3 – wtf.  I can’t buy another pair of these, but if I could I would buy another pair and it would be these.  sidetone: the black sole would be so much easier than the white, I imagine.  my only complaint about them is that the white is hard to keep clean – lots of scrubbing with Clorox wipes every few wears.

4 – these jeans make your butt look good.

5 – I want to put this jumpsuitthis jumpsuit on and not take it off until summer is officially over.

6 – a very happy striped tank from madewell.  cute with creamy high-waisted denim.

7 – la double j is taking the girl world by storm, and you can see why with fun dresses like this one.

8 – a sexy little top that’s easy to pair with jeans for a night-out with your night date person.

9 – these earrings caught my eye – fun and bight and would probably make everything alright (for a bit, at least)

10 – evil eyes and pearls.  cute little combo on this bracelet

11 – snakeskin is currently in – have ya heard?  these boots are to be taken very seriously as a stylish item.

12 – I bought this skirt yesterday and shipped it to aspen, but I bet the lazy postman who won’t pull in our driveway to deliver sends it back to h&m, because that’s WHAT HE DOES and I feel annoyed by it.

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
