A quick trip to Aspen last week with my Furb team proved very fruitful - we planned out 2020, (that'll be version 10.1 folks, how crazy is that!?), we did a round of shopping and eating in downtown Aspen, posed in nature looking natural, raided the vintage clothing closets at the house and saw approx. 12 elk.

An impromptu SALT strap photoshoot at the top of Watson Divide. We get to drive the most magical road home from town - it's up and over a pass that overlooks the whole valley, with 4 big peaks right in from of you. It's pretty much #content gold. So are the SALT straps -- made by a friend in NYC, they're literally taking the girl world by storm. Furbish will be at the Bhvanva Holiday Market here in Raleigh on 12/9, and we're teaming up with SALT to offer several patterns of straps, including 3 that we monogrammed with evil eyes!
SHOP MY FAVE STRAPS

A visit to Kemo Sabe is a must-do when in downtown Aspen. It's the most amazing hat store, all 100% mountain vibes, and you can actually get your hats customized, with good-looking leather bands, add some accoutrements from the feather bar, and you can have your hat branded with your initials.
Aviator Nation is also a don't miss. Their store is so fun, and their sweats are live-in soft. I like to catch feels in the baby clothes section (ermagawd this hoodie!), I always grab a few stickers (thanks!) and if you're feeling frisky, go explore up the rainbow staircase to the second floor chill room, complete with an yellow AN pool table and disco ball.
JUST A FEW OF THE SOFT AF PIECES FROM AN

and back at the house where after a cocktail, the vintage furs came out, and best-lives began to be lived. We spend most of our time in the cozy living room at the back of the house. The doors open to a deck that's right above a creek - it's really lovely. Our thrift store finds continue to be bounteous - we just added the two red ottomans. The couch was a crazy score. It's a custom designed Kravet sectional that would retail for the price of a car, but we got it for about the price of a scoot around town. wheeeee.
