Closet Cravings / December 26, 2019

merry christmas from alpine aspen, where it’s currently snowing, rowdy is in a new Pendleton dog ensemble and life is full of respite and ease, for the moment. and I will take it. let’s chat more about 2019 before the year ends, but for now, a fresh closet cravings for your considerations.
1 – very into this part-way plaid moment, perhaps for a nye party?

2 – shearling and leather, and cropped – 100% yes to this chic coat

3 – these boots look super-sharp in suede.  I still haven’t pulled the trigger on a fancy winter boot.  these are high in the considerations category.

4 – tory burch has killed it this season, in my opinion.  This color-blocked dress is top of my list.

5 – walking in a winter wonderland is the ideal activity in this fancy blouson.

6 – I really like the wash on these Levi’s.  this is my go-to cut – it always gets compliments.  I’d size up in these, because there’s nothing worse than squeezing all those buttons shut and feeling like a piglet.

7 – love a silk skirt, and the asymmetrical hem makes it interesting.

8 – why didn’t I start earlier?  fun tee from bando

9 – tie dye and puff – can’t get enough.

10 – aptly timed for maximum christmas spirit, the shopbop collab with peanuts makes me smile.  I like this super-cute tote bag with the girl gang.

11 – show up in unexpected red sequins and you’ll be the Bella Hadid of the ball

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
