Happy middle-day-of-January. Does it really even matter which one it is at this point in the month?
I’m headed to Palm Springs tonight for a friend’s 40th birthday. I’ve never been, and it’s a must-do on the places to see list, so I’m stoked. my flight is at 6pm and right now it’s 10:44am and nary an item has been packed. WHO AM I IN Palm Springs!? What an interesting dilemma to contemplate in 1.25 hours. The party has a few themed events (pajama party and stripes) so that helps put me in a lane.
This has been my first full week back in the swang of thangs in Raleigh. #furbish2020, project feather my own damn nest some, trying to workout just enough to keep my spine from fusing together, catching up with fronds, getting some QT with my boy dogs (who are getting ready to be big brothers – Brian Meares is expecting!), and watching Cheer have kept me fully engaged, hence the 11th hour packing I’m about to do.
What can I tell you that’s interesting…. let’s see.
I just ordered this 2-piece sweater set from Asos, and I’m wearing it this instant. This is my year of sets. If you click through and it’s sold out, just keep an eye on it. Same happened to me, and it was available again a few days later. If not, consider this one, it’s equally cute. Doesn’t that look like a comfortable way to live?
That design-life I’m living involves some recent finds for clients like this fabulously weird wallpaper we’re going to pair with. these great dining chairs,. I also found these bright serape chairs that aren’t forever pieces, but are a fun moment.
However, I do think this coffee table will last forever ever, and the same client added this pretty lady to their cart today!
And, make sure you check out new newest Editor’s Picks over at the furb. I’ve got a slew of coo (whole entire slew) items I’ve been eyeing. Usually my picks are client purchases I’ve bookmarked over the past couple of weeks, clothes I’ve been craving, books I’ve got on my must-read list, or new arrivals at Furbish I’m particularly proud of.
