TO ALL THE ITEMS I’VE LOVED BEFORE

Shopping / February 14, 2020

Welcome to your valentine’s 2020 yal.  I rang in the red-hued holiday last night with a fantastic galentine’s party (we did boob paintings!) and plan to keep the festivities flowing today with cocktails at the Longleaf and dinner at St. Roch, followed by a rom-com at home with Tad and two schnauzies.

Just for the fun and flirt of it, I let the lurve loose on a round-up of ruby red, punchy pink and girly gucci bits that I’d totally let be mine.

sweater // chair // necklace // bra // sneaks // napkins // blazer // loved mug // candle // scrunchie // earrings // perfume // tee // emoji charm // heart le creuset // porcelain heart box

SWIPE RIGHT ON THESE LOVELY LOVERS

On East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Designter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
