READY FOR SETS : EASIER WAYS TO DRESS THAT DON’T FEEL LIKE QUITTING

My Style, Shopping / April 28, 2020

ATTENTION. I HAVE A THOUGHT TO SHARE.

I'd like to suggest a projected path for those of us hesitant to trade out our sweatpants for ... anything un-sweatpantlike.

Two-piece sets.

Just one evolutionary skip past pajamas, and closely related to sweats, two-piece sets require minimal brain power (does this match? YES), they're completely comfortable (elastic waistbands abound), and I wager they can be the missing link to connect our quarantine life to the nearest new-normal.

I'mma fan of this black sweater set - I traveled in it, back when that was a thing, and could wear it to brunch the next morning and feel fancy.  Here are a few faves that range from basically-this-is-a-leisure suit to a more ambitious out-and-about printed short or a cropped top and skirt.  All easy because the decision has been made for you- try it in two's and take the pain of making it match off the table.  And keep the tables 6' apart.

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
