FURBISH FIVE FOR YA

Furbish / July 26, 2020

Being the head pretty-things-picker at Furbish, I thought I’d share straight from this horse’s mouth what we’re wheeling and dealing that’s remarkably rad.  Here are a few Furb finds that I’m feeling particularly tickled by this week.

1 – My fave lil lamp, now in a bright cherry red.  I arrived with one for Nick when I visited upstate earlier this month – he’s a hard one to most his host, but I was confident he’d like this cordless wonder, and it was a hit!  He kept his on a kitchen counter for task lighting, and planned to take it outside for dinner parties on the patio.

2 – Speaking of dinner parties on the patio – this new brass candleholder is supes sexy and I love the kooky organic shape.  Would be very chic with these rainbow swirl taper candles.

3 – I’m tripping out over this pillow still.  We’ve already sold through the first round, and we’re stocked and ready to go.  A mint, red, marigold combo sends happy chemicals in my brain.

4 – The new Milbrook Tablecloth sold out in one day (cause it’s rull cute) – but they’ll be back in stock soon!  You can sign up for a restock email and we’ll hit you up just as soon as they arrive in about two weeks.

5 – Logan’s Ledford’s pop-up opens today at 12pm est, and it couldn’t be better timed for summer time stylez.  Her dot paintings are so fun in a room – they add an energy that’s undeniable.  The color combos in this collection are extra-bright and guaranteed to be a super cheerful statement in any room.

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
