WATCHING
Well I am just thoroughly enjoying this show. Girl goes to India once, and is nodding at everything on the screen because, yes I know that too! I went to India. Love marriages, non-veg, numerology! I know what these things mean now! That's dumb, but how I feel, and that's fun, because I can't travel, and this show makes me feel a little like I'm traveling, and a lot like I am excited to think about doing it again! I think everything about 'Indian Matchmaking' is excellent - it makes me think love doesn't have to be complicated, that people still pay attention to others and that partnership is important work, for so many reasons.
CRAFTING
How cute is this little DIY idea? I started saving a bunch of stitching project inspo on pinterest, and I had no idea there were so many smart details you could just craft right up on your denim. This seems very achievable, so i think I'm going to get my supplies set, and try it on the plane on the next flight to Colorado. I also love the words on the back ankle of jeans, and the embroidery on the inside cuffs of a jean jacket. Clever crafty chics, really doing all the things.

DESIGNING
I was looking for storage in a client's bedroom that didn't feel so catalog-hutchey, so I was stoked when I discovered this little blue metal sideboard number at Crate and Barrel. I think it's great, and I'm happy to know that there's a piece like this in the world, that has all the lovely minimalism of a once-in-a-decade IKEA classic but is actually well-made to last and a decent price. It would be great in a big bathroom for storage, or in a smaller living as a tv stand. Great sideboard if you have goodies to display, or a cool end table showcasing some curious collection.
EATING
So back a few weeks ago, when I went to upstate NY for the weekend, one of the hosts served a deconstructed, serve-yourself Niçoise Salad and it was the smartest thing I've seen in a rull long time. Everyone was tickled by this elegant solution for quick dinner party prep. What a trick - little piles of all the appropriate fixins - so you can nail your niçoise your own way. . I am absolutely using this at my next dinner party, because it's 1) easy, 2) a crowd-pleaser b/c everyone can get what they want 3) fancy af.

UNPACKING
A marvelously attractive bunch of rugs just arrived, and I spent yesterday unpacking, and remarking OHHHH this one! after I unfolded each. I thought this one was particularly exceptional. I truly believe that only because of the 106 heat index and the distance of my car is why I did not bring this girl home with me. You, however, can stay put right at home in your ACchillz and order it online next week when the newest arrivals are released. Danke schön.
LISTENING
I discovered KRCW whilst hanging at a friend's house in Carbondale. It's a National Public Radio member station that broadcasts from the campus of Santa Monica College, and it gets. down. on. it. Their live stream 'Eclectic 24' has never let me down yet - it's perfect for a dinner party, a hang by yourself day and eat a gummy and clean until your heart is content, or a morning coffee sit on the porch. Furthermore, Anne Litt hosts a show called Morning Becomes Eclectic, and it's really great for working time. And lastly, there's a DJ, Anthony Valadez, that you don't want to miss.

WEARING
I think we're all starting to realize that we can't have too many masks for 2020, and they are most likely here to stay for longer than we'd think. I haven't quite known what to do with my mask game, but I'm finally coming into my own I think! I ordered this fancy frill from Clare V. for like my, elegant mask, should I attend some sort of Gala outdoors in a Victoria Beckham ivory crepe dress (this is particular b/c I just got this particular dress in the mail from Rent The Runway and have zero occasions/places/reasons to wear it. Except for! With my new mask! ((Victoria does make very attractive dresses that are perfectly cut). And I got the blue one because it just looks happy. I can be happy with or without Victoria, honestly.
