CLOSET CRAVINGS

Closet Cravings / August 30, 2020

1/2 – I’ve finally, in month 5, started doing Zoom workouts regularly – and while it doesn’t matter one single bit what I have on, I may treat myself to an outfit that says somewhere, out there, someone might just care. These pants and sports bra might put some roar back in my workout.

3 – I always pack all kinds of dresses and aspirations for Aspen, but once I’m here, it’s jeans everyday.

4 – We’ve discussed my pennant for robes, so this kimono should come as a surprise to nomono.

5 – A new Bon Bon earring that is indeed quite good good.

6 – The dress I do wear is this super-simple button-up black number.  Never feels like too much, but does say I tried!

7 – A do-over on the denim skirt, I love this color and the length.

8 – When I do Golden Goose, I prefer the hi-top.  I like this pair, throwing out the fall vibes.

9 – A puffed up cardigan is crucial for fall.

10 – How pretty are these pressed flower pendants?  They are different state flowers!

11 – I just got this skirt delivered, and it satisfies a very deep part of my brain that likes the feel of the tiny pleats crunching under my fingers.  Plus it’s pretty.

"Date 1944. Sorority sisters at the University of Texas." by sdasfvrce in OldSchoolCoolOn East Lake Shore Drive, this co-op project combined 2 separate units last updated in the '60s into 1 lavish apartment with a gut-remodel, relocating the kitchen to the front of the apartment overlooking the lake. Interior by Summer Thornton Design
ter bath, Thornton juxtaposed diagonal swaths of Calacatta Monet marble with Breccia stone to distract from the room’s asymmetrical layout while providing a unique take on tradition, highlighted by the Waterworks fixtures and a freestanding tub by Ann Sacks. The oak paneling was detailed with black molding, a reference to the hand-painted ceiling in the living room.
