Labor Day is upon us, and while we will not labor hopefully, we will gladly welcome any seasonal transition that flips the script and brings the promise of that some positive change is possible. Although it’s super-summery here in Aspen today, allegedly by Tuesday, we’ll be in the 40s with a snowfall situation likely. I’m going to seriously be in shock when I get back to NC because I’ve been spoiled with cardigans on cool nights here, sleeping with the window open and the duvet tightly tucked around all cold corners, and end-of-summer sunsets in the mountains where the shadows are as soaring as the red rocks surrounding our valley. DAMN! your girl all Henry David Thoreau up in hur . This is me now.
