'APRILS HAVE NEVER MEANT MUCH TO ME,
AUTUMNS SEEM THAT SEASON OF BEGINNING, SPRING'
-TRUMAN CAPOTE, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S
You know that animated gif of Oprah holding the mic gyrating quickly back and forth? A la 'you get a car, and you get a car!'. That's how I feel about a sweater, and chances are, you do too.
In Aspen we had the first snow of the season on Labor Day. Unfortunately, we were in Vegas where it was 115 I kid you not degrees, whilst a storm blew into the mountains, causing us to miss our connection in Dallas, and miss the the snow falling part of the event. There was plenty left when we finally landed, and I, as Oprah would, put on my chunkiest sweater to celebrate.

Back in Raleigh, a sweater is still not quite appropriate, but there's been a tease of autumn in the air, promising that soon, we'll get a change, and if you're like me - you're welcoming any positive change that comes your way. I'm predicting we go early on all events this season - Halloween may be skipped, but the holidays will hit hard because lord knows, we need to lift our spirits. In an effort to lift our collective spirit asap, may I present a few remarkable sweaters that turned up in my searchings.
