WANTING
I discovered these amazing hand-sewn custom photo albums by MH Studios via theLSD's instagram. Such a good idea right? She schedules a meeting with you (zoom) presumably to learn about you, and your project, and then she puts together a quote for an embroidered masterpiece for your memories! Be sure to click over to the site and scroll down to see some of the cool examples in her portfolio.

ORDERING
I'm guessing you haven't been adding to cart over the national park project's shop lately, so I'm here to tell you - you should! Their mission is to protect and preserve parklands for generations to come by educating, advocating, volunteering, and activating park supporters to get involved in conservation. To date, they've contributed over $1,300,000 to help fund vital projects in parks. The branding on their merch is TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT. You gotta go see to believe - their current collab with Igloo coolers is so rad, and I've got this sweatshirt in my cart, and am tempted by this puff print pocket tee.
WEARING
My first real foray into a wide-leg flair since at least decades ago was swimmingly successful. These Griffin Boot Cut Jeans are from the G Label at Goop and they're extra-great. I've gotten a ton of compliments on them when I wear them - they do a booty alrite. I still am not 100% sure what shoe is appropriate with a leg this luxurious in room, but we'll fight one battle at a time.

WATCHING
I actually watched this a couple of weeks ago and was really blown away. I just had no idea -- I have to admit, sure, her music was on my radar, and I liked it, but I thought she was odd and her relationship with her brother was odd, and it turns out she is and it is in the BEST way possible. Her family was really quite lovely, and normal, and doing their best given the crazy world they were thrown into suddenly with Grammy wins, worldwide tours, too-excited fan-girls and the stress I can not even imagine that comes with a 16 year old getting their license in LA. It's a do watch, fo sho.
READING
I don't mean to be all five-star unicorns --there are plenty of things I can critique--but let's save it for next week. This book is fantastic. I heard an interview with the author on Fresh Air the other night and ordered it abruptly a la Kindle, and I'm gonna do my best to not finish it tonight because it's a real treat. Non-spoiler alert - Klara is an AF. An artificial friend, and the book is told from her POV. In this not-so-futuristic world, all the 'lifted' kids have artificial friends, a robot-like creation that accompanies them everywhere.

DECORATING
I'm v. excited to use this charming pink star print wallpaper on a ceiling in my client's office we're trying to girly up a bit. I feel assured this will do the trick. Molly Mahon, the designer, has this great way of mixing tradition British decorating and the craft of block printing without it ever feeling too precious.
