To be clear, this post is about La Double J matching sets. I'm into them. But I would be remiss not to start with my raison d'etre right now - and it's those furry slippers. Checking I wasn't spelling Raisin like these guys, I found clarity in the Miriam wWbster def of the correct spelling: Someone's raison d'etre is the most important thing to them: Michael Jordan's raison d'etre was basketball. Beethoven's raison d'etre was music. A raison d'etre motivates a person; it's their purpose.
So, it's these Steven Madden slippers. And I was embarrassed they said Steve Madden on the instep, so I marked it out with Sharpie, but I'm not sheepish enough to not share. These guys are $40, and I wore them so much in Raleigh, I amazoned a pair to Aspen. This is me now. You're going to have to do some searching for your size, but it's not impossible. I got my first pair at Macy's and they are sold out, but the Sage color doesn't upset me too much.

I digress but let's redirect. This post is about how much I enjoy the easiness of a La Double J set. They put it together, I order it, and all at once, you look extra chic like you knew something about something. Several silhouettes are standing out to me as wardrobe staples for spring. What I enjoy most is all of the pieces I have from the brand are packable (don't wrinkle at all), so simple to throw together for a lewky lewk, and don't feel like they'll fall by the fashion wayside too quickly. I encourage an investment in one of these sets - find your formula and feel fierce when you add a pair of your (steve madden whut??) furry sandals.
