It's very hard for the world to wear tight jeans right now. Proverbially and literally. And that is the correct use of the word literal right there, see (also guilty of the rampant misuse). So while we're wearing the loosest pantalones we can procure, I do believe we can strive for a more sophisticated option up top. I just got a new white blouse from Staud, and it's serving lady-up-top vibes pretty consistently for me. I think it's a great investment right now - totally wearable all year, can be styled up and down as needed, and I think it's pretty flattering on.

Which leads me to my next thought: I really enjoy Staud, let's talk more about them. I own several pieces from the LA-based line and I know I can always find something current for a Closet Cravings or some such if I look to them.
I think this quote from co-founder Sarah Staudinger is quite funny: "Know what you need (or want) and don't stray. It has never worked for me but I imagine if practiced, it would be a really helpful tip."
Here's just a sampling of some pieces by Staud that I think are really great quality for the accessible price point, and I guarantee won't require a stitch of skinny jean to be involved.
