It is time to have a party. And why not do it on your porch.
At the rental house I was in before I moved to kondo, we had the most legit front porch. It wasn’t huge, but big enough that I had a swing, and could host a dinner party for about 16 folks at a long table. I have such fond memories of nights on that porch – playing a game I love to thrust upon my guests, ‘Rose and Thorn’, getting over-served on the iced Lambrusco, and boomeranging our ridiculousness on Instagram because boomerangs felt very cutting edge three years ago.
I invested in 16 bamboo folding chairs, so when we did throw a party, I didn’t have to buy anything. Founding Furb and all means this girl always has lotsa table linens on hand, and I’ve been collecting pretty plates for a decade now. There are a few extra things I think are fun splurges to spice up a table – keep these one-of-a-kind finds on hand and just use a few each fiesta for a style that’s totally unique to you.
If you buy things you’re drawn to, and keep them in the same general color palette, it will be easy to mix from your collection, and you’ll get more looks from a few pieces. I designed the latest Furbish table linen collection to mix-and-match easily – affording you the peace of mind that you just cannot mess it up. Everything goes with everything – all 4 prints, loews, ambroeus, delphi and pandora, can mingle, and the solid linen napkins coordinate with every print. SCIENCEMATHSDESIGN.
