READING
I caught a blurb about this book on NPR the other day, and was intrigued enough to click it through to my Kindle. Having a baby over 40 is certainly a bit out of the box, but not so terribly unlikely these days. I've enjoyed all the stories of women and men who either had no idea a later-in-life baby was in the cards and had the welcome surprise of a lifetime, and I've read about women who have taken decades to realize a lifelong goal of starting a family. Lots of encouraging words on why waiting was definitely the right decision.

SELLING
A couple of my fave holiday needlepoints from this season are on major sale. We won't be bringing these back next year, so they'll retire to the archive of needlepoint-past. If you want to score a soon-to-be Furb collectible, now is the time!
COOKING
This sheet-pan feta recipe from the NYT has been on constant rotation for me since the summer. Sometimes I'll throw a few pieces of salmon in the mix, and voila - you've got a super-simple 15 minute cook-time dinner for four! Find the original recipe here (sometimes I sub in asparagus for the broccolini it calls for).

GIFTING
This year, my go-to gift was this hoody from Amazon. For years, it's been my go-to in NYC and Colorado when it's cold, so I decided to spread the love this year. I wear it under blazers and bigger jackets for a cool layered look, and I love that it's reversible. Boop!
WATCHING
I don't imagine there's much left to say about this zinger of an episode - the season finale of season 3 of Succession. I've seen it called the best episode on TV ever, and while that may be a stretch is was absolutely stunning, exceptionally clever and extra-entertaining. Tad said if we'd been in a movie theatre we would've clapped. I'm such a fan.

DECKING
We had to bop back to Raleigh for this week, but we're headed to Aspen again on Christmas Eve, and I'm happy to say all of our holiday decor is decked out for our arrival. Before we left last week, we got the tree up and decorated, and the stockings were hung by the deer with care. Can't wait - the forecast has snow everyday!
