I'm really digging Sarah Sherman Samuel's new collection for Lulu & Georgia. It's a totally flushed out, very well-executed line of furnishings that doesn't feel forced or rushed. The selection seems like really quality items I haven't seen elsewhere. I was impressed with how fresh it felt. Here are a few faves I've got my eye on:

OOGLING
Love this recent eye-candy from Kelly Wearstler protégé, Jessica Ayromloo in AD. A very colorful Mexico City crib she designed for friend - the apartment just screams CDMX. So happy and fun - definitely go take a peek at the entire project - I'm just extra-into that colorful kitchen!

SAMPLING
I'm working on a new restaurant in downtown Wilmington, NC, slated to open in 2023, and last week Tad and I traveled down to the coast for a quick pop-in to see progress, and to check out the new-to-us Seabird, opened recently on Front Street in downtown. The food was fantastic - we did a dinner and a quick lunch (the doughnuts were to die for), but even more impressive to me was the thoughtfully executed, very-chic interiors. Think custom leather banquettes in baby blue, a terrazzo-wrapped bar, and carefully curated artwork that sets the space apart from any competitor I've seen downtown. Certainly worth a visit if you're visiting!
READING
OMGTHISWASSOGOOD. I read this Andy Weir novel in two days, and could not stop thinking about it when I wasn't. I'm a bit of a sucker for space-age sci-fi, so let that be your warning -- there is plenty of nerdy NASA speak, but I was on the edge of my seat for this entire intergalactic ride. From the writer of The Martian, you'll see a lot of the same themes, but presented in a new package that's easily as enticing. I heard there's already a Ryan Gosling movie in the works, and I guarantee I will be first in line.

WATCHING
Equally exciting to the book is the time Tad and I spent binging all four seasons of Yellowstone last month. Yes, we are way late to the rodeo on this series, but so glad we finally made it. Abolutely into it - one of my fave all-time shows now. I didn't know what to make of Beth Dutton at the start, but now of course I'm obsessed, and Kacey! How amazing is Kacey! Kevin Costner is a fox, Rip is magical, and even Jimmy is my jam. I just loved it, and cannot wait for the next season to come out. We're watching 1883 now, which is a little too heavy for me, but still enjoying, especially Faith Hill and Tim McGraw as the mains - I forget what great actors they are.
GROWING
Aside from this baby I am on week 35 of growing, this geranium is my current crown jewel of life I'm supporting. I have no real idea (other than some good light and persistently watering it the appropriate amount) why it's thriving quite so much, but it's currently over 5' tall, and growing by the day. And blooming consistently too! Is a geranium tree such a thing? Because I think we are there. She's going to live in the baby's room - hopefully to encourage similar (easy) growth with him.

DESIGNING
Our newest drop of tabletop linens is out this week at Furbish, and we have cranked up the color in this collection! My fave: The Amelia print in bright neon pink, paired with cool khaki and peacock blues. The four Spring prints, as always, are designed to mix and match, so you can pair one tablecloth with another placemat, and throw in a coordinating napkin, knowing that magical mix will be A-ok no matter what you choose.
